I took to heart your advice and in a huge leap of faith, have not used any creams since I ordered my last pack from you – (and by the way, thank you for the complimentary pack, very kind of you).It was one morning in January when I realised that I had not had the ‘itch’ during the night. Then several more itch free nights followed. Wow! I am so happy; I wake up not feeling like I haven’t slept (and most nights I didn’t because of the intensity of the itch), I can use the wipes during the day knowing I will be comfortable, pain and itch free, then use one last thing at night and settle down to a peaceful night’s rest.Whoever came up with the formula for this product was inspired and is deserving of any recognition they may get. This product has changed the quality of my sleep and therefore, the quality of my life.Thank you all so very much.
I am writing in the hope this will help others.For the last 2 years or so I have suffered from the most AWFUL itchy bottom.At its worst,I was having to visit the bathroom 4 or five times a day at work to wipe.During this time,I visited two Doctors who prescribed numerous creams and /or tablets.I also had sessions with Doctors at the hospital where I had tests for alergies.I also had a camera inserted for examination.It is fair to say that at its worst life was very miserable.It was not just itching-about 30 minutes after I had been to the toilet,the burning started and there then followed a long period of itching.Walking was very difficult.The last time I visited the Doctor I was told I had a “sore bum” and was given the same cream as I had been prescribed 2 years previous !!!!!!!!!!!! I decided to search the web.To cut a long story short,I found out I was suffering from Pruritus Ani.I also found a web site called “simplysoothingwipes.com”.I purchased a packet of wipes for £4.99 from the site and used them daily.IN TWO WEEKS I FELT BETTER.I found the owner of the site,Ginney,to be VERY helpfull and friendly.I have been using the wipes now for about six months.I find using two wipes a day keeps the condition away.Should the irritation flare up again I use more untill it settles.I AM WRTITING THIS MAIL IN THE HOPE IT HELPS OTHERS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM THIS VERY EMBARASING PROBLEM.The simply soothing wipes worked for me and they are certainly worth trying.The company is VERY honest and VERY reliable.Thank you.

I saw a post on another site for wipes called simply soothing. You order them online for about £5 for 20 wipes. Use the 4 times a day (they do sting for the first week). My symptoms where greatly alleviated and life is much more comfortable– D

You get them online for about £5 for 20 (they do sting for the first few days) my symptoms where greatly alleviated after the first week, by the second they were gone. used to suffer from bouts of anal itching, not as serious as some people on here but still extremely irritating! Anyway, it’s now cleared up so I thought I share how I eventually got rid of it. I went to my doctor and she didn’t find anything wrong. I tried applying sudocreme after going to the toilet and that was ok for a while but the longer I used it the worse it got. So like after about 3 weeks I realised it was just making it worse. I read that those types of creams can actually ‘thin’ out your skin and make it more sensitive so just encourage more itching! I would advise people not to use any heavy creams if they can help it – hard I know! Anyway, after reading some comment on here I stopped using the sudocreme and started washing my bum in the shower after each bm (I had a week off work and was at home so this was possible). I stopped washing the area with shower gel, just used warm water and made sure it was thoroughly clean. Then, to make sure it was really dry I used a hair dryer (on low heat!) to get rid of all moisture. I did this every time I used the toilet for a week. Then when I went back to work and wasn’t able to shower everytime I used those simply soothing wipes (again recommended on this site). After wiping with toilet paper I used the wipes to make sure the are was completely clean. They stung a bit but nothing too bad. But honestly, they are great. It took a few weeks but eventually the itch was gone. I think it’s the vinegar in the wipes that does it as I’ve read elsewhere that cider apple vinegar works. So I guess you don’t have to buy the wipes, you could just use vinegar but for me the wipes were pretty handy for when i’m out and about. Anyway, not saying this will cure everybody’s itching bum but for me it really worked– Anon
Thank you for sending me the wipes, they have been really helpful. I have been a lot better, the problem is still there but the wipes definately stop the itch and I would much rather use them than keep using the steroid cream. As soon as I use them during the night I go straight back to sleep– Anon

I first experienced this problem 2 years ago. After trying all sorts of over the counter remedies with no success, I finally talked to my ob/gyn about it. She prescribed a steroid cream which helped while I used it but the problem always came back. I was concerned about the long term effects of the steroid and also beliived that it was helping the symptoms but not solving the problem. In December I read some of the comments on this site about “simply Soothing” wipes and decided to order some. For me, using them has eliminated an embarrassing, miserable condition. I absolutely have no connection with this company. I’m a middle aged woman from mid-Missouri and I just wanted to share my story. This is a great product and it, literally, changed my life.– Anon

My husband had this! And he also had another problem that we solved with simply soothing wipes, he tried them on his belly rash and they cured that too! he used them twice a day, or more if it was really hot. Within a week both the rash and the itching were on the way to recovery. Dont be put off by the ‘anal’ bit on the wipes, it just means they’re gentle on any skin, they really helped us. i think you can only get them on the website, google simply soothing.– Anon
Just thought I would let you know that I got the wipes on Tuesday (I think) and immediately started using them. There was a lot of stinging to start with – really a lot – and I was a bit despondent. However, last night was the first night since my itching started (about three weeks) that I slept all night and today, things feel a lot better. I too suffered from this problem for almost a year. I went to the doctors 4 times, each time i was prescribed a different cream. I had no symptoms of hemorroids or any other problem that could cause the constant itching. The creams seemed to make it worse due to the moisture. Mine started simply by using a new product in the shower. I spent almost 8 months looking on different sites to see what i could find to cure it myself. I came across a very very small handful of people who recommended a product called simply soothing wipes and i’m so glad i did! i used 2 packets of the wipes and have one in my cupboard just in case and have had no itching for months! The wipes were £4.99 a pack, cheaper than my presciption, so i thought why not, been desperate as i was. If you google simply soothing wipes you will find it’s a very small company set up by a few people in England. I have to say I’am so grateful to these people, no waking up during the night scratching myself raw, no awkward moments during the day.– Anon
Hi there…I am sooooo happy to have discovered your product on a blog. I was loosing my mind with this itching problem and it was at its very worst. I had tried everything and nothing gave long lasting results. The doctors was a waste of time. All they told me was stop icthing…not very helpful I felt a difference from the first use. A few weeks ago i was on a site just like this, i read a post from a women who wrote she had had the same problem for years until she tried Simply soothing wipes. I decided to check out the site, Very basic site and what seems a very basic company. I decided to give them a go, they cost me £4.99 for a pack of wipes, cheaper than my prescriptions, i am now on my 8th day, the itching is barley there, the skin around my anus is not inflamed anymore.– Anon

First I would like to thank you for the quick delivery. Then I would like to thank whoever invented this product. I have only been using it a few days and already am seeing the benefit.I have suffered with piles ever since I had my first child 35 years ago. And through using different products to alleviate the problem I think I had made matters worse. The constant itching was driving me insane and I think this prevented my piles fro healing properly. But after just using one of your wipes I felt so much better. I found your website after reading a forum and someone recommending your wipes. So far it’s the best treatment I have found on the market, but it is early days so I will let you know on your website how I get on. O would definitely recommend your soothing wipes to others. Your website is easy to order from but I think if I hadn’t come upon the forum I would still be suffering, so I think a few links from other sites may help to find you. After my forth visit to the doctor- where I was assured there was no solution to my discomfort. I said to the doctor ‘surely if man can land on the moon you can cure this problem!’ but an answer alluded him. He did recommend I blow my bottom with a hair dryer on a cool setting. This didn’t work.I was supposed to go camping, I didn’t feel I could!I went on holiday to Spain and with the new hand luggage regulations I had to empty the products I’d got from the chemist on to the desk!- the short relief I got was hardly worth my embarrassment in front of my friends!
Dinner parties were also a challenge. My life was not my own.
It had all begun when I ate some bad prawns, it ended with simply soothing, I am forever grateful. I’m now looking forward to going back to Spain for pony trekking!

I was genuinely skeptical about the idea of a wipe sorting out a prblem that had not been solved by visits to the doctor and various creams.
